摘要(Abstract)：

面神经麻痹(FNP)是一种由感染性、肿瘤性、创伤性、内分泌性和特发性等多种原因导致面神经(CNⅦ)功能障碍所引起的面部松弛或萎缩的疾病。除对因治疗外，西医以激素、抗病毒和神经营养药物为主，但治疗效果欠佳，中医针灸疗法具有简、效、廉等优势。本文回顾分析4例犬、猫面神经麻痹病例，所有病例均出现面部不对称、眼睑闭合困难的临床症状，经神经学检查结合其他检查后确诊。本案采用中兽医辨证，以中医针灸治疗为主、西医药物治疗为辅的方法对4例病例进行治疗，其中3例病例痊愈，另外1例病情明显好转。本病例报告提示中西医结合治疗面神经麻痹的疗效较好，可为临床诊疗该病提供有益参考。
Facial nerve paralysis(FNP) is a disorder of facial relaxation or atrophy caused by the dysfunction of facial nerve(CNⅦ) which may result from infectious, neoplastic, traumatic, endocrine and idiopathic etiologies. In addition to the etiological treatment, western medicine mainly takes corticosteroid, antiviral and nerve nourishing medicine, but its therapeutic effect is sometimes far from satisfactory, while acupuncture and moxibustion have the advantages of simplicity, efficiency and low cost. Four cases of facial paralysis treated with traditional Chinese veterinary medicine(TCVM) were analyzed retrospectively in this study. The diagnosis were verified by neurological examination and supported by other modern investigations in all cases, which showed clinical symptoms of facial asymmetry and hypophasis. In the meanwhile, syndrome differentiation of TCVM was also adopted. Three cases were healed and the other one was gradually better after taking acupuncture and moxibustion of TCVM as the principal treatment. This study provides evidence on the improved outcome of TCVM for the treatment of facial nerve paralysis, and opens a new avenue for the clinical management of this disease.
